As announced via a statement by the Press Office of the Prime Minister, Ms. Grabowski Mitsotaki will in the near future take the necessary legal actions under civil and criminal law,«in order to restore the truth and her personality».

«Following yesterday's post by the SYRIZA State MP Elena Akrita, the content of which she repeated today, Mrs.Mareva Grabovski Mitsotaki will in the near future take the necessary legal actions under civil and criminal law, in order to restore the truth and her personality.
We consider it self-evident that the entire parliamentary group of SYRIZA will accept the lifting of Ms. Akrita's immunity, in order to answer to justice for her false and slanderous allegations.».
After the announcement, Ms Akrita came back with a post on social media, saying:
«Mareva Mitsotaki said that she will sue me for my post which was purely political and not personal and that's why I'm not changing even ’and«.I'm waiting for her and I'm telling her now that I'm going to ask for my immunity to be lifted. I am not a coward, I do not sweat my ear off from threats and I am not hiding from anyone.

Akrita to Georgiadis: “April Fool's joke to apologise to Mareva Mitsotakis”
It is noted that on Monday morning (01/04), Health Minister Adonis Georgiades claimed that it is unacceptable for Elena Akrita to target the Prime Minister's wife, asking «what do they want, to destroy Mitsotakis' house?;». He called Mrs. Akrita «to write an “I'm sorry I got you into trouble Mrs Mitsotaki».
Elena Akrita responded by saying that «I guess that's an April Fool's joke.. Because it's hilarious, even if he said it himself with a straight face - after all, that's how the most successful jokes are told in a serious way.».
The MP of SYRIZA launched in her second post an attack against Adonis Georgiades, stating among other things.«Oh, and Mr Adonis Georgiades, no bullying me. Just because I'm an MP doesn't mean I'll mince my words.».
