The Hellenic Institute of Naval History, on the occasion of the completion of the digital reconstruction of the ruined building and the operation of the Signal Recorder of Kythera, will present for the first time to the public the result of this project with the help of its contributors and through very interesting visual material, on Wednesday 21 January 2026 at 7 pm at the Historical Library of the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation (2as Merarchias & Akti Moutsopoulou, Piraeus).
The event will feature a wealth of visual material and a talk by the project's contributors:
Manolis Korres: Historical and architectural study / design record
George Mastrogeorgiou: Digital representation (3d modeling)
George Makaronidis: Creating a virtual tour
George Maragoudakis: Aerial videography
The event will be moderated by the Vice President of EL.I.N.IS. Leonidas Tsiantoulas.
Entrance will be free to the public.
