New York mobster Dwight «The General» Manfredi is being released from prison after 25 years. Despite having kept his mouth shut all this time, the bosses aren’t welcoming him back as he’d like. Instead, he finds himself running operations (extortion and gambling) while «exiled» by the boss to Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Realizing that his «family» might not have the best intentions toward him, he begins to build his own team, a crew of unlikely characters, with the goal of founding a new criminal organization in a place that makes him feel like he’s on another planet. Amid all this, there is also a woman somewhere whom Tulsa King flirts with in his own unique, mafia-style way.
