A 79-year-old man was fatally injured when, according to police, was swept away by his tractor while he went down to check his tires. The incident occurred Thursday afternoon in a rural area of Visaltia Serres, while the elderly man was first evacuated to the local Health Centre and then to the Serres Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on the evening of the same day. Investigations into the circumstances of the incident are being carried out by the relevant police station.
