Seismic tremor between Nisyros and Tilos

An earthquake in the sea area between Nisyros and Tilos occurred at 17:15. According to the measurement by the Geodynamic Institute, the magnitude of the earthquake was 4.5 degrees on the Richter scale and was felt by the residents of the two islands without causing a climate of concern. The epicentre of the earthquake was located 24 km. SW of Nisyros.
