Weekend with 25s and... rapid change from Monday

From noon onwards the weather opens up in the central, southern and eastern parts of the country and in the west the clouds will become fragmented. Instability will occur in the north (central Macedonia) and further east.

In the evening, thin clouds and the temperature at noon will reach 24 degrees in the centre, 15 to 23 degrees in the north and 25 degrees in the south. Attention however needs to be paid to the winds as they will be from the SW with a force of up to 7-8 Beaufort.

In Attica we will have good weather with sunshine but from the evening it will gradually cloud up. The temperature from 13 to 24 degrees.

In Thessaloniki sunny from the morning, but from western Macedonia we will have clouds that will give scattered showers of short duration in the mountains.

On Sunday we will have clouds from west to east and showers in a zone from western Greece, the central Peloponnese, Attica and the Aegean Sea.

On Monday there will be a lot of rain from western, central and northern Greece. More thunderstorms will occur in Macedonia, Thrace and western Greece, while there will be a strong southerly wind. There will be snow in the mountains of Epirus and Macedonia.

On Tuesday we will have phenomena in Thrace and the Aegean, which will be limited until the evening.

According to meteo, clouds are expected in the west, in the East and South Aegean and in Crete, while local showers will mainly occur in Ionian, Epirus, West Sterea, East Aegean and Dodecanese. In the rest of the country, local clouds are expected, but sunny spells are also expected. Dust concentrations in the atmosphere will be relatively high. Visibility will be locally limited until the morning and towards the end of the day.

The temperature in Western Macedonia will range from 5 to 21 degrees Celsius, in the rest of Macedonia and Thrace from 6 to 22 degrees Celsius, in Thessaly from 10 to 24, in Epirus from 8 to 19, in Sterea from 7 to 22, in the Peloponnese from 8 to 23 degrees Celsius, in the Ionian Islands from 12 to 19, in the North and East Aegean Islands from 13 to 19, in the Cyclades from 13 to 20, in the Dodecanese from 11 to 20 and in Crete from 12 to 25 degrees Celsius.

Winds in the Aegean Sea will blow from southerly directions 4 to 6 Beaufort. In the Ionian Sea the winds will blow from southerly directions 3 to 5 Beaufort.

In Attica, thin clouds are expected, occasionally thicker. Winds will blow from southwest to south directions 2 to 4 Beaufort and in the afternoon and afternoon in the south 3 to 5 Beaufort. Weather: clouds, partly cloudy with local showers or rain mainly in the midday and afternoon hours in Epirus and Western Central Greece.
Winds: south southwestern 4 to 6 and in the Ionian Sea locally 7 Beaufort, which from noon will shift to west and gradually weaken.
Temperature: From 10 to 21 degrees Celsius. In the interior of Epirus 4 to 5 degrees lower.

THESSALIA, EASTERN CENTRAL GREECE, EASTERN PELOPONNESE
Weather: light clouds, partly thicker in places, mainly in the morning and evening hours. Possibility of localised rain in Thessaly mainly in the mountains in the midday and afternoon.
Winds: Western southwestern 4 to 6 and in the south in the midday and afternoon hours up to 7 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 09 to 21 and in some places 23 to 24 degrees Celsius.

CYCLADES, CRETE
Weather: scattered clouds, occasionally thicker.
Winds: southwest 6 to 7 and possibly in the western Cyclades up to 8 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 10 to 20 and in Crete up to 21 to 23 degrees Celsius.

EASTERN AEGEAN ISLANDS - DODECANESE
Weather: a few clouds, partly cloudy with light local rain mainly in the Dodecanese until the afternoon.

The temperature will drop slightly in the west and north where it will reach 17 to 19 degrees. In other areas it will reach 20 to 22 degrees Celsius and locally in northern Crete 25 degrees Celsius.
