Milos is one of the most beautiful islands in the world, according to the Italian newspaper sportoutdoor24. The Cycladic island is also very popular in Italy, while it is constantly gaining impressions in other markets of the world with bookings appearing optimistic for the new season.
Last month Milos had a significant presence in Milan, as part of the ongoing campaign to promote thematic tourism. The Milos culinary event was held at Kitchen Milano in the centre of Lombardy city by Chef Vassilis Papikinos, a native of Milos, with the assistance and collaboration of Chef Georgia Koutsoukos. With the help of the director of the Italian National Tourism Organisation (EOT), Kyriaki Boulasidou, who had shouldered the task of organising the event, it attracted the interest of prestigious gastronomy and tourism journalists from the most important Italian electronic, television and print media. Also present at the event was the President of the Greek National Tourism Organisation, Angela Gerekou, who also participated in the preparation of the recipes from Milos.
