How legal are the work suspensions for those unvaccinated; How much legal standing can they have if workers take legal action? What has the Council of State for unvaccinated workers? Ο Alexis Mitropoulos, Professor of Labour Law at the University of Athens, Greece, reveals and deciphers yesterday's decision of the CoE, in an appeal of POEDIN. What he says is very important. It says, among other things:
“The phenomenon of compulsory vaccination has NOT been decided by the courts. I read today's (yesterday) decision of the suspension committee that ruled and individual appeals and the appeals of PDEDN that says that further the critical provisions of Law 4820 of 21 have not yet received homologous processing that is the Council of State today with decisions 250 51 and 52 that rejected the request for suspension, says that the Greek Supreme Court has not yet issued a decision on compulsory vaccination... This is being discussed in the plenary session of the Council of State on October 8. So, then, for the first time, the Supreme Court of Cassation, and it will be the first court of Cassation in Europe, of a member state of the European Union, is called upon to decide whether the compulsory vaccination of Law 4820 of 21, passed 20 days ago by the Greek parliament, is constitutionally compatible with international labour conventions ...”
Mitropoulos also answers the question whether the announcement of the Pfizer for medicine against coronavirus by the end of the year changes the legal situation for the compulsory vaccination. He even answers on the legality of “indirect pressure” exerted on unarmed military personnel.
