Significant political developments and realignments are taking place on the domestic local government scene. In an official announcement, the municipal faction «All Together, Kythira–Antikythira» announced the reinstatement of municipal councilor Nikolaos Magoulas to its ranks.
Mr. Magoulas’s reinstatement is also being carried out formally in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Local Government Code (Article 116, paragraph 5, of Law 5314/2026).
In the relevant press release, the political faction places particular emphasis on the value of unity, describing it as a fundamental prerequisite for a meaningful and effective contribution to municipal affairs, with the sole aim of serving the interests of the two islands. At the same time, it is noted that differing opinions are an integral part of democratic governance, however, what matters most is a willingness to cooperate and a commitment to the common goal of advancing the region and improving the daily lives of its citizens.
In welcoming Nikolaos Magoulas, the «All Together, Kythira – Antikythira» political group emphasizes that it is continuing on its path even more united, with responsibility, consistency, and well-reasoned arguments, declaring itself ready to fulfill the responsibility entrusted to it by the residents.
