The composer and lyricist Vaso Alagianni passed away «quietly in her sleep», as Harris Alexiou wrote and made the news known with a post on her Instagram.
«She went quietly in her sleep
This woman who was so many things.
The «Svarno» .
Who wrote songs
Who healed with Reiki
Who advised with self-awareness
Who loved with passion
Who smoked a lot
Who sewed
Who was knitting
Who scolded us to wake up
Who laughed like a baby
Who sang
Who traveled a lot
Who filled us with gifts
Vasso Allagianni, who I sang it with Rasoulis' lyrics and her own lyrics to Zambetas, as so many others have sung it.
“Svarno” my friend and my Reiki master
She went quietly in her sleep to rest forever.».

The career of Vasso Alagianni, who learned music alongside Manos Loizos and Notis Mavroudi and made her recording debut with the album «Haratsis» in 1982, was intertwined with favourite songs, such as, among others, «Ah Greece» performed by Manolis Rasoulis, «Aquarius» and «Tonight Silent» sung by Nikos Papazoglou.
As she had said in an interview with the website avopolis «I wouldn't want to relive any of the wonderful things I've experienced, nor any of the difficult things I've experienced. All my experiences I contain: they flood my existence and shape it! Nothing therefore needs to happen «again». I am a lucky man, I have had and still have powerful experiences. I would call them gifts!».
While referring to her collaborations with Manolis Rasoulis and Nikos Papazoglou, she said: «Irreplaceable and certainly unrepeatable. What could I say about Manolis? Such people are not compared and are not born every day. And what can I say about Nikos, this charismatic, inspiring and charming creature, who was adored by all of us... You know, it is very difficult for me to speak about them, because I loved them both very much. All I can do is sing our songs in their absence.».
