From time to time testimonies about Roula Pispirigou from Patras come to light that have left us speechless.

And he went straight to the second question: «Do you know anybody who beats the shit out of someone to get a beating on my behalf? I'll make you golden,» he told her. To receive the answer: «That doesn't happen!»
The A.N. describes what followed: «Well, that's it, I finished the coffee with a thousand puffs, I told her I'm sorry, I'm not good enough at coffee to tell you what you want to know and I left. I watched the news for the next few days to see if I heard of any beatings so I could intervene but nothing. That's how nervous I was... But he was very serious...»!
Based on the 37-year-old woman's claim, the Pispirigou case «ties up» even more. What mother would dare utter such a word to a «coffee girl» who was seeing her for the first time? Not even a thought.
This is what witnesses and journalists «looking into» the case have been claiming for weeks. Every time Manos left, a child got sick. Or died...
Her mother and sister will visit her today at Korydallos prison.
