The Union of Ionian Greeks, continuing the tribute to the folk tradition of the Ionian Islands (Thematic Unit: Traditional Costumes of the Ionian Islands) and their passage to modern times, from yesterday to today, through the game (doll - miniature) playmogreek, presents the 7th island of the Ionian Islands with the depiction of the traditional costume of Kythera in modern times with Playmogreek.
The photo shoot, entitled «Aphrodite was born in Tsirigo t'omorfo», took place in November 2023, at landmarks of Piraeus and specifically at the Municipal Theatre of Piraeus and Castella.
The photographic material shows the young people of Ionian Islands: Mado Kalokairinou and George Stathis, wearing traditional costumes of the island.

With the photographing of the playmogreek of the 7th island of the Ionian Islands, the creation and photographing of the playmogreek from Corfu to Kythera (in geographical order) is completed and the Board of the EEA would like to warmly thank all those who worked for the realization of this idea. We renew our appointment with the presentation of the seven pairs of playmogreek created especially for the action of the Union of Ionian Greeks, for which an announcement will follow.
