Forecasts for unstable weather did not deter thousands of people from attending the annual festival of Agia Pelagia, on Friday, 23/09, on the eve of the great feast of Panagia Myrtidiotissa, the patron saint of Kythera.
The program of the evening began with the dance group of the Agia Pelagia Recreational Association. This was followed by Matthaios Giannoulis with his orchestra and Antonis Gambierakis with traditional Cretan music, to be followed by the people who partied until the early hours of the morning.
Here is a rich photo reportage of the big night, signed by Stamatina Tamvaki.
