His character, his spirit, his passion for the game, and his dedication to the yellow-and-black cause became synonymous with AEK itself. His selflessness toward his beloved team should serve as an example for all of us.
The tremendous effort he made to be able to enter our new stadium may not have been formally rewarded, but his spirit will live on forever among us and will be present in every corner of our home.
Just as timeless were the struggles he endured to make this dream of our team—which he loved more than his own life—a reality.
The management of AEK FC, his teammates, the entire AEK Veterans Association, and the soccer department bid farewell to our team’s leader and extend their most sincere condolences to his family .
