Measures and Harsh Exclusions
Those eligible for the booster shot who do not get vaccinated will also be subject to the restrictions and bans on entering indoor spaces.

- theaters
- movie theaters
- museums
- conferences
- gyms

The explicit reference in the Joint Ministerial Decision
The following are considered vaccinated:
«a) those who have completed their COVID-19 vaccination at least fourteen (14) days and present a vaccination certificate, accompanied by verification of the holder’s identity, and
b) those who completed their COVID-19 vaccination at least fourteen (14) days ago with a (1) dose of the vaccine due to their COVID-19 infection and present proof of full coverage —recovery and vaccination—with simultaneous verification of the holder’s identity.
Specifically, for those who have reached their sixtieth year of age and at least seven (7) months have elapsed since the administration of the second dose, or, in the case of single-dose vaccines, since the administration of the single dose, Those who have received the booster dose are considered fully vaccinated.
Effective February 1, 2022, and without the age restriction specified in the preceding paragraph, those who have been vaccinated and for whom at least seven (7) months have elapsed since the administration of the second dose or, in the case of single-dose vaccines, since the administration of the single dose, are considered fully vaccinated provided they have also received the booster dose.
The above certificates must be presented either as a printout from the digital platform www.gov.gr, or electronically via the individual’s mobile device, or through the special application referred to in Article 182 of Law 4876/2021 (A’ 251), after they have been saved on the individual’s mobile device; these are then scanned electronically by the competent employee, the owner, or the legal representative of the respective business, the employer, or the authorized person in each case, scans electronically via the special application provided for in Article 33 of Law 4816/2021 (A’ 118) “Covid Free GR,” by scanning the QR code displayed on them, while simultaneously verifying the holder’s identity.
Identity verification may also be carried out by simply presenting the identification information that the individual has stored digitally, in the form of a document, on their mobile device via the specialized application referred to in Article 182 of Law 4876/2021. Verification of the aforementioned information may be performed by the persons referred to in the fourth paragraph through the special “COVID Free GR” electronic application provided for in Article 33 of Law 4816/2021, by scanning the document’s QR code.
Alternatively, if the above certificates are presented by a foreign national from a third country (outside the European Union), the persons referred to in the preceding paragraph shall verify these certificates in hard copy while simultaneously verifying the holder’s identity.».
