Dead in his cell in prisons of Corfu where he was detained was found the 33-year-old Polish man who had killed the 7-year-old son of his partner in 2017 in Hive and was arrested five years later while carrying the child's remains in a toolbox.
The 33-year-old was found hanging with a sheet at 15:30 on Tuesday 22/03 by prison officers who opened the cells for the prisoners' pre-trial detention. .
The death is attributed to suicide as he was alone in the cell, which was locked.
The incident is under investigation.
