With a press release issued, the municipal combination «Kythera, Antikythera, We Live Here», attacking the municipal majority for the way it convened the city council through email, which, according to the minority group, «highlights the centralism and inefficiencies of the municipal majority». It calls on the Chairman of the Board «to take responsibility» and to inform in advance instead of ultimatums. The statement concludes by conspicuously calling for the full positions of the municipal factions to be made public in the City's press releases and states an end to tolerance for «half-truths».

«“Need for a new governance model No 2“
Today's supposedly email meeting of the city council has once again highlighted the centralization and inefficiencies of the municipal majority.
At the last minute, Members are being asked to vote on traffic regulations in the middle of the tourist season. Issues that in other islands are solved by Easter here we are arriving in August.
The solutions proposed for the smooth operation of settlements and shops have been publicly presented by our party for months.
The delay in implementation is clearly the responsibility of the municipal authority.
The dissolution of the municipal majority and the lack of participation in procedures and decisions is responsible.
The invitation to a meeting with email was intended to conceal the actual abstention of the members of the Mayor's party from a real meeting, even via teleconference.
Following these developments we demand that the Chairman of the Board take responsibility. We demand that the party be informed in advance of the meeting method and not ultimatums. We demand publication of the positions of the factions in the press releases of the municipality and not half-truths. Our tolerance has limits and our criterion is to support our islands and our community.»
