The City Council is called upon to take decisive decisions in the coming Wednesday, 25 February 2026. In two successive invitations issued by the President of Parliament, Mr. Constantine Kapsalis, councillors are convened in meetings to decide on the planning of projects and the financial operation of the municipality for the year.
16:30 - Technical Programme (3rd Regular Session)
The first meeting shall have as its sole object approval of the 2026 Technical Programme. This is the moment to finalize which infrastructure projects will get the green light to start or continue on the island during the year.
17:00 - Budget (4th Special Session)
Half an hour later, Parliament would proceed to the special ordinary sitting for the adoption of the budget. Topics include:
