A letter from the Mayor to the Trifyllio Foundation is published:
Dear compatriots, Happy New Year!
I am following with particular interest the developments regarding the Alimos property (Cultural Center) and the effort to utilize it for the benefit of the Trifyllio Foundation, which finances almost exclusively the most important social structure of Kythira, the Nursing Home. The case of the property in Alimos is also of personal interest to me, as I have been familiar since childhood with all the relevant initiatives and actions of remarkable people who are no longer with us and who tried for years to resolve a difficult issue by defending the interests of the Foundation and, by extension, the people of Kythira in the Alimos area.
If the Foundation needs any kind of help or support—moral or practical—to resolve the long-standing issue of the Cultural Center in Alimos, please do not hesitate to ask.
I remain at your disposal and hope for the swift completion of the process you have initiated, for the benefit of the Foundation and with the aim of preventing the loss – deprivation of its assets, an issue of utmost importance not only for the Foundation but also for the Kythirian community and society in general.
