Ο Kythiraikos Association of Athens, faithful to its aims of promoting cultural education, history and the preservation of the bonds of Hellenism, successfully carried out a five-day excursion to Sicily, from 30 October to 3 November 2025.
Members and friends of the Association traveled in the footsteps of Greater Greece and had the opportunity to get to know the monuments and beauties of the Palermo, Monreale, Cefalù, Cefalù, Akraganta, Catania, Syracuse, Santo and Taormina. They toured archaeological sites, cathedrals and historical centres that bear strong traces of Greek, Roman, Arab and Norman civilisation, experiencing a unique journey through time.
A journey full of history, art and images - a true cultural experience, just as the aims of our Association express.
The guided tours were excellent, with rich information and historical references, and everything was taken care of in detail by the travel agency, TRAVELGATE, which ensured the impeccable organization and warm hospitality, leaving everyone with the best impressions. Special mention deserves a special mention to Alexandra Lourantou, who was present throughout the trip, always willing, with a smile for all participants.
