In the information circulated for mess at the Municipal Camping of Kapsali respond in a statement the volunteers who assisted for three days the Deputy Mayor of Civil Protection Yannis Katsanevakis, the police and port Authorities in the management of the 240 irregular migrants incident.

The absent Mayor, appeared to criticize the Solidarity Citizens of Kythera on the cleanliness in the toilets of the campsite where the 170 refugees were accommodated.
So the truth is this:
After the all-out excellent midnight operation to transport the refugees, from the hospitality area, the site as a whole was delivered in a much better condition than before, in the record time of 4 hours.
This thanks to the touching great participation of people to take care of their island, despite the any fatigue of the waking days.
But the superhuman effort, didn't catch the Mayor's speed to cut off the water while we were buying the cleaners., as well as we bought all the other (rakes, shovels, bags) necessary tools for cleaning the area, which unfortunately the Municipality does not have.
But the water in the room was hastily cut off before Alectore cried out.
And so now we are under the weight of the Mayor's hasty criticism.
