Study showed the variation in covid-19 symptoms exhibited by population groups depending on their vaccination status.
The research showed in particular that those who had completed their vaccination had:
- -Painful throat
- -Drain
- -Rynical congestion
- -Thread that insists
- -Headache
Those who had had a dose of the vaccine showed:
- -Headache
- -Drain
- -Painful throat
- -Whistling
- -Persistent cough
Finally, the main symptoms that the unvaccinated people had were:
- -Headache
- -Throat
- -Drain
- -Pyretos
- -Persistent cough
According to the study, four of the five most common symptoms, sore throat, runny nose, persistent cough and headache, occurred in all groups - but their prevalence differed. The unvaccinated had more frequent fever, which was not seen in those who had had the coronavirus vaccine.
The study, conducted by scientists at the universities of Harvard and Stanford, is based on data submitted by participants in the US and UK who recorded their symptoms via an app for research purposes.
The new list of symptoms contrasts with the classic, more severe symptoms of coronavirus, such as a persistent cough, loss of smell, fever and shortness of breath that were common at the beginning of the pandemic. Such symptoms are now ranked at numbers, 6, 8 and 29, respectively, according to the study.
Another interesting fact is that those who have been vaccinated and have COVID are more likely to report sneezing than those who have not been vaccinated.
“If you have been vaccinated and you start sneezing without explanation, you should have a test COVID, especially if you live or work near people at higher risk of the disease,” the authors wrote.
