The total number of cases is 2.623.628 (daily change +0.7%), of which 49.3% are males. Based on the confirmed cases in the last 7 days, 214 are considered to be associated with travel from abroad and 1,305 are associated with an already known case.
There are 39 new deaths of patients with COVID-19, with a total of 26,513 deaths recorded since the start of the epidemic. 95.2% had underlying disease and/or age 70 years or older.
The number of hospitalized intubated patients is 363 (63.9% men). Their median age is 68 years. 89.5% have an underlying disease and/or age 70 years or older. Among intubated patients, 246 (67.77%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 117 (32.23%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,348 patients have been discharged from ICUs. New admissions of Covid-19 patients to hospitals in the territory are 269 (daily change -15,94%). The seven-day average admission rate is 283 patients. The median age of cases is 35 years (range 0.2 to 108 years), while the median age of deaths is 79 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
