Underwater gardens, Moments of visual tenderness, an inner journey that at times indirectly and at other times directly engages with the visual counterpart of summer landscapes. Mental snapshots that offer relief to the gaze, weary from the city’s constant demands.
In her 12th solo exhibition, Vasiliki Koskiniotou presents a series of works inspired by the landscapes of lyrical abstraction that characterize her artistic universe. The exhibition features 9 small-scale works on paper and canvas, and 9 large- and medium-scale canvases, created with her signature materials: oil paints, oil pastels, and graphite on primed paper or canvas.
The exhibition opens on Saturday, August 16, at 8:30 p.m. at the ZEIDOROS venue in the picturesque port of Kapsali on Kythira, and will run through mid-September. Exhibition hours: daily from 8:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Vasiliki Koskiniotou is a painter, [B.A. in Fine Arts, summa cum laude from the Athens School of Fine Arts (ASKT), 2006], a graduate of the School of Philosophy at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA), and has worked as a bilingual translator and educator. Vassiliki Koskiniotou holds a diploma in painting from the Athens School of Fine Arts (2006) and a Master of Science degree from the University of Athens, and has worked as a bilingual translator and art teacher.
