Nightmarish moments were experienced on Friday morning, at least 15 bus passengers in Thessaloniki, when the vehicle fell into a 5 m trough in the road, when the road surface gave way due to the heavy water that had fallen due to the bad weather “Ballos”.

The incident occurred on the National Resistance Votsios Street and it is noteworthy that a similar incident had occurred last year, in exactly the same place.
In the picture presented exclusively by OPEN TV, it looks like the bus is in the air. A piece of it got stuck on the edges of the roadway and that's why the heavy vehicle didn't go deeper. Fortunately there are no injuries, according to initial reports.
According to the Open Channel, for a long time there have been complaints from citizens about this particular spot and the trough that was there. But it seems that nothing had been done about it.
