The weather is expected to worsen today, according to the special weather advisory issued by the National Meteorological Service, with heavy rains and thunderstorms in the west that will affect northern Greece, as well as the eastern and southern islands, through Wednesday.
More specifically, heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected in:
1. MONDAY (December 27, 2021)
a) In the northern Ionian Sea and Epirus until the evening.
b) The southern Ionian Islands, western Central Greece, and the western Peloponnese.
c) In Thrace and the northeastern Aegean, starting in the evening.

2. TUESDAY (December 28, 2021)
