An earthquake of 5 Richter according to the Geodynamic Institute of Athens, occurred at 15:38 in the sea area of Tilos.
The earthquake, as the mayor of Tilos, Maria Kamma, said to APE-MPA, was particularly felt on the island, as well as on the surrounding islands.
The epicentre of the earthquake was in the sea area 27 km west-southwest of Tilos and at a depth of 10 km.
