On Monday in Greece, sunny skies with a few thin clouds are expected, while unfavourable fire weather conditions will prevail in the eastern and southern parts of the country. From the midday hours clouds will increase in places on the mainland and rain and isolated thunderstorms will occur in mountainous parts of the northwestern part of the country.
According to the meteo of the National Observatory of Athens, the temperature in Western Macedonia will range from 13 to 33 degrees, in the rest of Northern Greece from 15 to 36 degrees, in Epirus from 17 to 36-37 degrees, in the rest of the continent from 19 to 37-38 degrees, in the Ionian islands from 20 to 35-36 degrees Celsius, in the Cyclades and North Crete from 19 to 30 degrees and in the rest of the Aegean islands from 19 to 33-34 degrees Celsius, while locally in the East Aegean islands the maximum will reach 37-38 degrees Celsius.
North winds with intensities of 5-6 and locally 7 Beaufort will blow in the Aegean Sea, while in the Ionian Sea northwest winds with intensities of 4-5 Beaufort will prevail.
In Attica, sunshine and occasionally stronger north winds are expected. The pyrometeorological conditions in the prefecture will be unfavourable. Winds will blow from the north with 4-5 Beaufort and in the east 6 Beaufort. Temperatures will range from 24 to 33-34 degrees.
In Thessaloniki a few clouds are expected, which will become thicker after noon. The winds will be light, and during the warm hours of the day from southern directions with intensities of 3-4 Beaufort. The temperature will range from 24 to 33 degrees.
