Dear friends, fellow citizens, young people, employees of the MUNICIPALITY, and our future partners, you who have decided to make your home in Kythira and Antikythira, I address you having made a decision with careful consideration, great wisdom, and mature thought to claim your valuable and decisive vote in the elections of 8of October.
Why is your vote considered valuable and decisive?; Because today, in an era where:
Images have taken over everything, and communication happens through slogans. Things we used to take for granted are being shaken to their core, and things that were once beyond debate are now not only questioned but openly mocked. Inspiration is nowhere to be found, good examples are rare, the spirit of sacrifice is disparaged and considered quaint, burning social issues such as unemployment, the protection of vulnerable social groups, health, care for the elderly, dealing with new forms of delinquent behavior, the need for cohesion, only united, active, and socially aware we can hope for social progress and development, where humanity, love, selflessness, solidarity, harmony, and wholeheartedness will be the dominant building blocks of local society.

The place needs «leadership» rather than «authority.».
Leaders who can speak to people's hearts, minds, and souls.
Leaders who can inspire and convey to their colleagues the joy, passion, enthusiasm, dedication, and dedication of our people.
Leaders lacking the passion of intellectual arrogance.
Leadership that respects employees and partners, avoiding any authoritarian, offensive, or disparaging behavior toward them, which ultimately has a negative impact on the mental well-being of the recipient and their family.
Leaders who believe in teamwork, in forming alliances with the scientific community, with institutional bodies, with associations, with organizations.
Leadership exercised in the workplace, not behind desks.
Leadership that requires integrity, dedication to the goal, flexibility, simplicity, and humility.
We ask you to trust us because:
- The MUNICIPALITY needs effective management focused on guiding, encouraging, and activating its human resources in a climate of cooperation and understanding.
- We have the will, patience, and mental strength to listen to you in need, declaring our willingness to serve your daily life with reverence, elements necessary to exercise a social policy respecting people in need, children, families, people with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups.
- We are convinced that the development of the MUNICIPALITY and its settlements depends on sincere cooperation, attitudes, and behaviors, where respect for our fellow citizens and employees of our MUNICIPALITY, as well as our future partners, is a prerequisite.

We want you to have confidence in everything institutional, which, due to incorrect tactics and methods, has disappointed you.
We know that whatever work you do in the local community, you have had a role model in your life who has defined your role as a citizen in terms of values. We are now asking you to become a role model for others. Know that someone believes in you. They see light and inspiration in your actions. Don't let them down. Join us in the arena.
We need your voice, we want to hear you, come and join us.
Our proposal:
The municipal authority is obliged to crack down on the cancer of bureaucracy, which causes hardship to citizens.
The Municipal Authority creates and establishes the «Dispute Resolution Committee,» where it can every citizen should immediately appeal, who considers himself wronged.
The following persons must participate in this committee:
- Representative of the Municipal Council
- The Head of Administrative Services of the MUNICIPALITY
- The Legal Advisor of the MUNICIPALITY
Citizens address people by name, not the faceless and impersonal bureaucracy.
