An impressive video, created by the Google Earth, has come to public attention. It is a Video which depicts the changes the landscape has undergone over the Earth for the past 37 years.
By collecting satellite images from its platform Google and the NASA and using time-lapse technology, the video shows us how much the landscapes have changed in cities such as Dubai, in forests, by the sea, and even in the Greenland where the ice has melted over time.
The video is just over two minutes long, but 24 million images from 1984 to 2020, with the tech giant stating that its goal is ’to gain a clearer picture of the changing planet »—a picture that shows not only the problems, but also the solutions, as well as the enchanting beauty of natural phenomena over the course of decades.".
Accessing Timelapse is simple, as it can be done through a dedicated mobile app and through Google Earth. Among them is a video from Greece showing the changes that have taken place in the landscape of Thessaloniki.
