The online platform for applications for the «Save - Do business» programme» which concerns investments for energy upgrading of buildings and equipment for small and medium-sized enterprises in the trade, services and tourism sectors is expected to be launched in December and the programme guide has been put out to public consultation.
It is recalled that the programme concerns installation of photovoltaic panels, small wind turbines or heat pumps in small and medium-sized enterprises and has a total budget of €2 million.
According to the draft Programme Guide, the savings are expected to result from:
- The energy upgrade of the building infrastructure with interventions in the building envelope, upgrading of internal electrical installations, upgrading of cooling/heating systems, upgrading or integration of new materials and equipment to reduce energy losses, upgrading of lighting equipment, etc.
- The installation and certification of energy management systems and automation devices
The amounts starting from €20,000 and going up to €250,000 are for businesses seeking to «shield» themselves from energy.
Conditions of participation
The basic conditions for a company to participate in the action are as follows:
- Must be established by a business with an eligible ID for the Action by 31/12/2020.
- Have completed at least two 12-month financial years before the date of online submission of the funding proposal.
