«I just heard the sad news. We competed together in 2001 to represent Greece at Eurovision. A lovely woman, a wonderful person, a fantastic singer. I’m so saddened. You left us too soon. May you journey in peace, Kay Konnors,» he wrote on his personal Facebook account.
The singer had competed to represent Greece in the song contest with the song «Mia Fora.».
She may not have succeeded in the end, but she had impressed the audience with her unique voice.
