On Friday, 07/05, the programme of subsidised new jobs for 2,000 unemployed people aged 30 and over in Attica and the South Aegean will come into effect... Beneficiaries are all private companies operating in the two regions.
The programme will run for 12 months and the monthly subsidy for wage and non-wage costs is €450 for the recruitment of unemployed persons and €550 for the recruitment of long-term unemployed persons (over 12 months).
Beneficiaries are unemployed persons aged 30 years and over, registered with the OAED for a period of at least one month.
How employers participate
Interested companies wishing to join the programme, submit electronically the vacant posts, specifying the specialty they are seeking and the level of study that accompanies it. Subsequently, the job counsellors of the OAED, indicate to the company those candidates who meet the criteria set by the company, which then proceeds to recruit the unemployed person.
The budget of the programme amounts to 12.000.000 € and will be covered by the OAED resources.
