Aid to small enterprises due to covid-19

The Region of Attica promises to support small and micro businesses through funding from the Attica Regional Development Programme 2014-2020, which has prepared an application with key questions and answers to facilitate the stakeholders.

Specific applications and clarifying answers for the subsidy through the Programme of the Region of Attica for the Support of Small and Micro Enterprises due to Covid-19

Γ. Patoulis: «Our goal is to facilitate and inform stakeholders more effectively. The Region of Attica with specific initiatives and actions actively supports small and micro businesses»

 In order to better facilitate small and micro enterprises interested in exploiting the the Attica Region Programme of 200 million euro.  euro through the PEP Attica 2014-2020, a special question and answer package has been issued for stakeholders and a special system has been developed to allow businesses to calculate their score by entering the necessary data.

The preparation of the above Application which you can see here as well as the first package of 33 questions and answers which you can see here was carried out after cooperation between the Managing Authority of the Region of Attica and the Hellenic Development Company (ELANET - EFEPAE) which is the Intermediate Management Entity of this action.

 Below are the following the two most popular questions with their answers

 

  • Question: Is the grant awarded to those who are approved reimbursable and if so, at what rate of interest?; Reply is: «NO, the subsidy is NOT refundable»
  • Question: Will the integrations be prioritised?; Answer: «NO. The evaluation methodology to be applied is comparative (ranking).».

Note that the Platform the dedicated State Aid Information System (PΣKE) for the submission of proposals (applications) to the program of the Region of Attica for the support of Small and Micro Enterprises affected by the pandemic has been opened from 23 October. The amount of aid for each beneficiary will be from 5.000€ - 50.000€ and the period for submitting applications, which can be done online at the following address: www.ependyseis.gr/mis, has as closing date 20/11/2020 and time 15.00.

On the occasion of the relevant actions, the Governor of Attica G. Patoulis pointed out:

 «Our aim is to make it easier and more effective for stakeholders to get information. The Region of Attica with specific initiatives and actions actively supports small and micro businesses. This is a particularly critical period. In the Region of Attica we are struggling daily to meet the high expectations and demands. The support of small and very small businesses through the funding of the Attica Regional Development Programme 2014-2020 is one of the measures we are adopting in order to be able to stimulate the market and support a part of the affected sectors. Our commitment is that not we will leave no small business in Attica alone in this health crisis. The Region will stand by them.».
