Domestic: Recruitment of one person on a fixed-term contract

The Property Committee of Kythera and Antikythera

Having regard to:

1. The provisions of article 206 paragraph 1 of Law 3584/2007 (Government Gazette 143/A/28.6.2007) as replaced by the paragraph 2 of Article 41 of N/4325/2015 (an exception is introduced as regards the duration of the fixed-term contract of personnel employed in fire safety and coastal lifeguard services, the duration of which may not exceed five (5) months within a total period of twelve (12) months.
2. The No. 25/27-03-2025 decision of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Property Committee of Kythera and Antikythera, on the «recruitment of fire safety personnel» with a fixed-term contract of up to four (4) months.

ANNOUNCES

The recruitment of one (1) person with a fixed-term contract for a period of four (4) months for the guarding of forests, forest areas and the response to fires during the fire season as follows:

1. YE Fire Safety Worker : one (1) for the Property Committee of Kythera and Antikythera.
2. SPECIAL TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS : Not required

      DURATION OF THE CONTRACT : four (4) months

GENERAL RECRUITMENT QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must be between 18 and 65 years old. .

Have the health and physical fitness that enables them to

the performance of the duties of the post they have chosen.

Not be ineligible under Article 16 of the Civil Service Code (conviction,

subrogation, legal representation) subject to the following exception.

Exception: Candidates for positions as auxiliary or unskilled personnel

provided that they have built the sentence or security measures that

have been imposed on them have been lifted or have been dismissed conditionally (Law 2207/1994

Article 4(6)).

SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

The following documents must be submitted with the application:

1. A photocopy of both sides of your identity card.
2. Certificate of marital status if there are dependants
3. Declaration of the Law 1599/1986 in which the candidate declares whether

in the last twelve (12) months from the date of submission of his/her application has

employed in the same public sector body in the same or similar capacity

the field of specialisation in order to determine whether or not the candidate is disqualified for recruitment.

The calculation of the 12-month period, in order to avoid any impediment to recruitment, shall be made starting from the end of the new employment for which the staff member is to be recruited and working backwards.

4. In order for unemployed people Latest  a certificate from the Employment Agency.
5. Large families and children of large families: Certificate of family status of the Municipality of recent issue accompanied by a certificate of the Supreme Confederation of the Greek Polygamous Families.

6. For proof of previous experience, a certificate from an insurance institution or the employment agency .

7. For proof of local residence A Certificate of Permanent Residence.

                                    Deadline for Submission of Applications

Interested parties may submit an application together with the required documents to the office of the Property Committee within five (5) days from the day following the posting of the application at the office of the Property Committee of Kythera and Antikythera, as well as at www.diavgeia.gov.gr.
