A total of €50 million will be paid to 60,700 beneficiaries during the week of 21-25 March, as part of the scheduled payments by e-EFKA and OAED.
In particular, as stated in a statement by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs:
From the e-EFKA EUR 16 million will be paid to 700 beneficiaries following the adoption of one-off decisions.
From the OAED the following payments will be made: (60 000 beneficiaries, €34 million):
€16 million to 42,000 beneficiaries for the payment of unemployment and other benefits.
€17 million will be paid to 7,000 beneficiaries under subsidised employment schemes.
€700,000 will be paid to 10,000 mothers for subsidised maternity leave.
€300,000 million will be paid to 1,000 beneficiaries for public benefit programmes.
