Ο director, Dimitris Indares, who was attacked, along with the two sons of the police officers on the roof of Matrozou Street in December 2019 and then were brought to the GADA because they refused police officers entry to their home, was placed on the scenes police brutality of the last few days and the videos that recorded the brutal beating of a police officer on a young citizen in the square of Nea Smyrna.
«At a time when society is trying to come to terms with violence, sexism and any abuse of power and the government claims a leading role in the effort, it is at least hypocritical and contradictory to allow itself to instrumentalize abhorrent means in the name of any narrative of order and security,» the director says and stresses that «these are not isolated episodes».
«Anyone who walks on the street is aware of the mindset. Whoever is confronted, understands the commandments and the spirit. And whoever “gets in trouble” finds the fence self-protection of a system that circumvents the fundamental functions of the constitution» notes the Dimitris Indares.

With haste by the willing media to reproduce the news without any cross-referencing and with citizens' mobile phones trying to fill the gap and restore the truth, which will however remain half-finished forever, since in the perception and possibly in the consciousness of many, the lie of the first moment remains on record, unashamedly taken out of the mouths of those in authority», concludes the director.
