The relevant post follows.
«An ongoing challenge for our fresh and small film crew. They are participating in a collaborative project between FreshFilms and (also small) groups of 15-18 year olds from Ireland and Croatia. Each team is asked to shoot footage for a film of no more than seven minutes with the central theme: «Island Community» (literally or figuratively) within seven days! The footage is given to one of the other teams to edit (again in seven days) and footage from another team is taken to do the same. On Friday, a teleconference was held with the organizers and the other teams.
Yesterday, Saturday, during a three-hour meeting, the outline of the script was agreed upon and ideas were recorded. Based on these notes, today the filmmakers are writing (each separately) scenes to be included in the mix...
The backbone and soul of the team is the irrepressible Giorgos Didymiotis. Once again, we thank him for his invaluable contribution to our children.»
