Monday 9 September at 9.00 pm, the last summer screening of CinePortokalia hosts the Xylourides and presents the film “Family Affair”.
The Xylourides are the most famous musical family in Greece. From the legendary Nikos Xylouris and his brothers, the famous lyricist Psarantonis and the virtuoso luthier Psarogiannis, to their children and grandchildren, three generations of musicians keep the family's musical tradition alive and bring it to thousands of fans around the world.
Starring Psarogiorgis (George Xylouris), his three children studying in Melbourne and his father, Psarantonis, the film follows the family through professional challenges and difficult personal decisions and documents their life over a period of two years.
Entrance is free and the beer is on the house.
