Karmiris' vulgarity on ERT: How do Koreans with slanted eyes see the ball?;

Public television committed another blunder, this time of a racist nature, on the occasion of the celebration of Tokyo Olympic Games. Having just arrived at the ERT studios, Demosthenes Karomiris, Commenting on developments in table tennis, he wondered aloud, «The Koreans are unbeatable at ping pong: «When their eyes are closed, how do they watch the ball going back and forth?  He and the host of the morning show, Dimitris Kottaridis, then burst out laughing.
