At one of the leading international wine and spirits trade shows, «PROWEIN 2023,» which will take place from March 19–21, 2023, in Düsseldorf, Germany, the Region of Attica will once again have a strong presence this year, showcasing the companies operating in this market.
In this context, the Region of Attica invites companies interested in participating as exhibitors at the Region’s booth, express their interest by October 16, 2022, while at the same time, it will subsidize 80% of the participation costs for exhibiting companies for renting space within a group booth.
A prerequisite for a business in Attica to submit an application is that the facilities of its privately owned winery be located within the Attica Region. Priority will be given to business activities carried out by universities.
It is worth noting that the ProWein International Wine and Spirits Fair is one of the world’s leading trade shows for wine and spirits, and it is of particular importance to Greek winemakers, given that Germany accounts for, depending on the year, from 39% to 50% of total Greek wine exports.
In a statement, the G. Patoulis, Regional Governor of Attica, He emphasized that the ongoing effort to promote Greek businesses and products at all international trade fairs and major overseas markets is a strategic choice, and, referring to the Attica Region’s participation in «PROWEIN 2023,» he noted that: «This is yet another significant participation by the Region of Attica aimed at showcasing and promoting wine products of exceptional quality, thereby enhancing the recognition of Attica wines on the international stage and, at the same time, strengthening Greek exports.».
