Ferries to the Saronic Gulf
Just a stone's throw from Athens and the Peloponnese, the Argosaronic Islands are the perfect destination for a quick getaway, with ticket prices starting at €5.
Starting at 5€
For just €5, you can take the ferry to Poros from Methana in the Peloponnese. The trip takes only half an hour, making it an ideal choice for a day trip to the island. There is one daily ferry service from Methana to Poros. You can bring a bicycle on board for free or transport your car for €12.
Aegina starting at €10.50
Athenians’ favorite island destination is less than an hour away from the port of Piraeus, and you can get there by ferry for between €10.50 and €19. For your trip to Aegina, you can choose between three ports: the port of Aegina Town, Souvala, and Agia Marina. With up to 35 ferry departures per day, the Piraeus–Aegina route is served by high-speed hydrofoils and conventional ferries.
Fishing hooks starting at €13.50
You can travel to the lush island of Agistri from the port of Piraeus by ferry for between €13.50 and €19.50. The trip takes about 1 hour or 1.5 hours, depending on the port of arrival (Skala or Mylos) and the type of ferry (high-speed or conventional). The Piraeus–Agistri ferry route operates up to 15 trips per day.
Ferries to the Cyclades

Kea (Tzia) starting at €11.50

Kythnos starting at 15€

Syros starting at 18€
From Lavrio, you can also travel to Syros on affordable ferries, with fares starting at 18€. The Lavrio–Syros route operates up to three times a week, and the trip takes about 5 hours.
Ferries to the Ionian Islands
Travel to the most popular islands in the Ionian Sea by ferry starting at just €6.60.
Corfu starting at €6.60
The most cosmopolitan island in the Ionian Sea is connected to the port of Igoumenitsa in Western Greece, with ferry fares to Corfu ranging from €6.60 to €8. There are over 30 daily departures. The trip to the port in Corfu Town takes about 1.5 hours, while the trip to the port of Lefkimmi takes 50 minutes.
Paxoi starting at €10.30
Just off the coast of Corfu, Paxos, with its fairytale beaches, is the perfect destination for a relaxing vacation, with ferry fares from Igoumenitsa starting at around €10. The Igoumenitsa–Paxi route is usually served twice a day, and the ferries reach the island in 1.5 hours or a little longer. And if you’d like to visit Corfu first and then continue your vacation in Paxos, you can find Corfu–Paxos ferries starting at 15€.
Kythira starting at €12.50
You can reach Kythira in 1 hour and 15 minutes if you take the ferry from the port of Neapolis in Laconia. The Neapolis–Kythira route offers 2–3 ferry departures per day, with fares starting at just 12.50€. Of course, you can also reach Kythira from the port of Piraeus, with ferry fares starting at €22 and a travel time of 6.5 hours, or from the port of Kissamos in Chania, with ferry fares starting at €13.50 and a travel time of approximately 4 hours.
Zakynthos starting at €13.50
Are you planning a vacation in the Levant Fjord? You can find cheap ferries to Zakynthos starting at €13.50 from the port of Kyllini in the western Peloponnese.
