The radio station of Kythera AdelinFM continues its revealing work on the bad things on the island. In today's article it sounds the alarm for the area of «Fonomandra» (name and thing?) east of the forest of Potamos, on the road to Agia Pelagia. The authorities need to be informed (if they don't already know?) and take immediate action before the fatality happens and we mourn nature, property and people afterwards. The river needs protection. The beautiful River Forest needs protection.

In the heart of summer with the big fires burning the country in the middle of the heatwave, we As a local media, we have to highlight the issue, inform people by pointing out the danger and the competent authorities have to do the right thing before it is too late.
Not doing so means that we're deaf, we're covering up, so we're complicit.
Next to the prohibitive signs of the Municipality of Kythera...that some unscrupulous people are eyeing... defiantly ignoring all danger have turn the area into a vast landfill.
The fuel oilmonths of accumulated matter in heaps extends for tens of metres on both sides of the dirt road and is adjacent to the nearby pine forest of the River.
The fuel consists mainly of tamarisk (branches) and (crop residues) wood, plastics, waste, as well as several piles of all kinds of rubble.
Exactly what the signs say is forbidden!
