Yesterday morning the auditors of the Independent Authority for Public Revenue closed the well-known beach restaurant Jackie ‘O, in Super Paradise, in Mykonos, for two days.
According to competent sources, the auditors of the AADE visited the company, which was targeted due to previous findings of delinquency in the last four years, but also due to questions in relation to certain tax figures and obligations.
During the on-the-spot check it was found that this company had not issued receipts for 45 sets of umbrellas-folding chairs, with rental prices of 35 and 45 euros/set, with a total value of 1,675 euros. The company tried to justify itself by saying that it had cut ... order forms (which are allowed to be issued before the receipt only for catering products) and that it would cut the receipts when the customers left.
