Some hold portfolios in the government of Kyriakos Mitsotakis. Others were ministers and deputy ministers during the period for which they are being investigated by the European Public Prosecutor's Office, i.e. 2021. The New Democracy MP for Aitoloakarnania and a classmate and friend of Kyriakos Mitsotakis from Athens College, he is also the person in whom the Prime Minister has entrusted Helleniq Energy and Hellenic Petroleum, since he is Chairman of the Board of Directors of both. Costas Ach. Karamanlis: The nephew of the «national ruler» Konstantinos Karamanlis and deposed Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, who is considered by many relatives of the victims of Tempi the political person responsible for the tragedy, seems to have been involved in the scandal of OPEKEPE. Kostas Tsiaras: The Minister of Rural Development and MP of Karditsa with ND has the peculiarity of being the one who has undertaken the cleanup of OPEKEPE! During the period under investigation, he served as Minister of Justice (2019-2023)
Yannis Kefalogiannis: Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection from 15 March 2025 and (along with Kostas Ach. Karamanlis) another executive with a «heavy» family name. The eldest son of Achilleas Kefalogiannis, brother of Yiannis Kefalogiannis and MP for Rethymnon with ND, during the period in question he was Deputy Minister of Transport (9 July 2019 - 1 September 2021).
Konstantinos Skrekas: The Secretary of the Political Committee of the New Democracy Party from 16 June 2025 and MP for Trikala was also Minister of Environment and Energy, during the period under investigation by the European Public Prosecutor's Office.
Notis Mitarakis: What is the relationship between the former Minister for Citizenship and Immigration - who is best known for his refugee funds - and agricultural subsidies? In any case, in 2021 he was a simple MP for Chios.
Dimitris Vartzopoulos: The current Deputy Minister of Health, in 2021, was a member of the Southwestern Democratic Party of Thessaloniki.
Maximos Senetakis: The Deputy Minister of Development and MP of Heraklion, was one of the persons involved in the dialogues of the first file on OPEKEPE.
Christos Boukoros, the MP for Magnesia was until June 2025 and Deputy Minister of Digital Governance, but he resigned because his name appeared in the OPEKEPE's dialogues.
Katerina Papakosta: The Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family, is elected as a member of the Southwestern Democratic Party of the Prefecture of Trikala from 2019.
Theophilos Leontaridis: The MP for Serres, a member of the New Democracy party, had served as Deputy Minister of Rural Development in the distant past. Specifically, between 31 March 2014 and 10 June 2014, during the government of Antonis Samaras.
Vasilios (Lakis) Vassiliadis: This is the MP for Pella of the New Democracy Party.
