The initiative “The Tree of Love” of Kythera will be presented today, Sunday, December 8, 2024, on Alpha's main newscast starting at 18:45. This initiative aims to raise money to support the “Smile of the Child”.
Each ornament added to the «Tree of Love» represents a smile for the children supported by «The Smile of the Child». The events that took place on December 1, 7 and 8 at various venues in Kythera - such as the Potamos Cultural Centre and the Anagenis Conservatory - united the local community in a common effort for a good cause.
All proceeds from the events are donated to «The Smile of the Child», supporting its valuable work. Initiated by Irini Vlachos and supported by the «Kefthos» Choir and the Anagenis Conservatory, the participants shared the magic of Christmas and offered love to children in need.
