Unknown perpetrators continue to steal olives in the Ammoutches area of Kythira, causing concern and outrage among the local community.
According to reports, in the most recent incident, the perpetrators entered Minas Fardoulis’s property and harvested the olives from 60 trees by cutting off the branches. The same modus operandi has been observed in two other incidents in the area.
Among those affected is a property belonging to the owner of the local radio station Adelin FM. The Greek Police have been notified of the incidents and are conducting an investigation. The station is appealing to residents for any information, whether anonymous or not, that could help identify the perpetrators.
