SYRIZA-PS is launching a policy counteroffensive, as Stefanos Kasselakis will present the official opposition’s positions on taxation and inflation today at 7:00 p.m.
The leader of the official opposition will outline the key aspects of SYRIZA–PS’s positive agenda at Technopolis in the City of Athens. At the event titled «The Greek Dream—A Life of Dignity,» Stefanos Kasselakis will outline his views on the economy.

Regarding the country’s economic data, SYRIZA – PS point out that 2023 ended with 2% growth, marking a «slowdown» that is expected to continue into 2024. They also highlight the low investment rate, as well as the data recently published by the Sunday edition of AVGI, which shows that Greece is the second most expensive country in Europe and ranks among the top ten globally in terms of, and that it is «in an even worse position than Ukraine.».
On Thursday, March 14, Stefanos Kasselakis is set to present the party’s policy platform and manifesto ahead of the European elections, effectively marking the official start of the campaign period for SYRIZA-PS. With its sights set on the June 9 elections, the party headquarters on Koumoundourou Street is also planning to hold four development conferences in April and May in Patras, Crete, Central Macedonia, and Eastern Macedonia–Thrace, respectively.
According to SYRIZA sources, the deadline for candidates to express their interest in running for the European Parliament elections will be set for March 17, while the primaries will be completed by mid-April and will be held in each electoral district.
In addition, a meeting of SYRIZA’s Executive Bureau will be held on Wednesday morning ahead of the party president’s visit to the military this coming Friday.
