SW wants to set off 7.000 euros from legal work me in 3.5 years with the blue looting and the Patsides» replies Tania Eleftheriadou on the alleged incompatibility of her parliamentary capacity with that of the special attorney and anti-client of the e-EFKA.

The deputy of SYRIZA - PC clarifies that:

«On the basis of Art. 57 of the Constitution, no incompatibility arises of the above mentioned qualities, as I am engaged in the profession of lawyer as a freelance and not in «the capacity of owner or partner or shareholder or director or manager or member of the board of directors or general manager or their deputies». I am in possession of the relevant opinion of Professor Georgios Sotirelis, Professor of Constitutional Law, which documents thoroughly and without doubt the correctness of my legal approach to the matter in question. Moreover, with the 2008 revision of the Constitution, the general incompatibility of the status of Member of Parliament with the exercise of any profession no longer applies, and Members of Parliament may legally practise as professional lawyers.
The provision of services to the e-EFKA (former IKA), starting from 2011 shall not constitute an incompatibility.
The Southwest is silent that for the 55 «payment orders» the amount I received from July 2019 until today from the EFKA, performing legal services for the benefit of the Greek state and the insured of the organization, amount to 16,529.87 (gross salary including VAT and expenses of the Bar Association's pre-collection letters), i.e. approximately 7.000 euro net salary, for which I was taxed.
The attempt to offset legal work, with a completely costed salary that does not exceed 7,000 euros net over a period of 3.5 years, with the plunder of millions from all types of Patsis, Chimarres and Koutoupis of the government majority, the 8.5 billion in direct awards, the name-targeting legislative initiatives, the borrowed and unloaned money in the banks, would be laughable if it were not simply outrageous.».

Continuing, Tania Eleftheriadou underlines that «I do not feel the need to apologize to the Mitsotakis regime that has devastated the public funds. If they think that the blue locusts will be forgotten with this kind of disorientations and ridiculous attempts at offsetting, they are deluded. Can Mr Mitsotakis convince us that 7,000 euros of legal work in 3.5 years is the same as 8.5 billion in direct assignments to his cronies?;
