The submission of online applications by beneficiaries and providers for the entertainment cheque scheme Public Employment Service (PES) for the 2022-2023 winter season.
Applications from interested beneficiaries and providers will be due by Monday, October 17, 2022, at 23:59.
As stated in a statement by the DYPA, the aim of the programme is to develop the intellectual development of the workforce, stimulate artistic creation and support theatrical enterprises.
In total, up to 220,000 cheques will be issued, based on the number of places offered by providers. The value of the cheques will be a maximum of €15 for the main stage and €12 for the children's stage. The total budget amounts to EUR 3 million.
With the cheque, beneficiaries and beneficiaries can attend the theatrical performance of their choice from the NYPA's Provider Register, without paying any additional amount.
Applications are submitted exclusively online, through the Single Digital Portal of the Hellenic State gov.gr, at the following address: https://www.gov.gr/ipiresies/ergasia-kai-asphalise/apozemioseis-kai-parokhes/epitages-theamatos.

Where supporting documents are required, they are attached to the online applications.
Beneficiaries are workers and unemployed persons who in 2021 have accumulated 50 days:
- work in the insurance of the e-EFKA (t. IKA-ETAM) or
a special maternity protection benefit, or
unemployment benefit or long-term unemployment benefit or
a combination of the above
Beneficiaries are also unemployed persons registered in the Unemployment Register of the DYPA who have been unemployed for a continuous period of at least four months on the closing date of the application deadline.
Beneficiaries of the scheme are the spouses of beneficiaries when they are their indirectly insured members, as well as the children of beneficiaries over the age of three, provided that they are indirectly insured members of themselves or of the other parent.
The selection system is based on the prioritisation of beneficiaries based on their income and the order of priority of their application.
Providers of the programme are theatre companies of any legal form, operating in accordance with the legislation in force.

Providers participate in the programme by offering a certain number of seats in the square to watch the performances that will be staged in their theatres during the winter season 2022-2023.
Note that providers who want to apply for multiple theatres must have DIPA codes. Supporting documentation is attached to the online applications.
